The Sports Drink Built for Youth Hockey.
The rink is cold, but under all that gear young players sweat hard. GRINTA replaces the electrolytes they lose, with a third of the sugar of a traditional sports drink.

- Only 10g sugar
- 3 electrolytes
- No artificial colours
- Made for kids
What hockey asks of young players
Short, all-out shifts and heavy equipment that traps heat mean kids sweat more than parents expect in a cold arena. Tournaments often mean two or three games in a day.
- ✓Replaces the sodium and potassium kids sweat out under their gear
- ✓Easy to pack in the hockey bag for early ice times and tournaments
- ✓10g of sugar, a third of a traditional sports drink
- ✓No artificial colours
How to use it for hockey.
Mix one sachet into a water bottle before warm-up.
Sip on the bench between shifts and at every intermission.
On tournament and all-day events, have a fresh sachet ready for the next game.
A third of the sugar of a traditional sports drink.
GRINTA mixed in 600ml of water vs a 591ml bottle of a traditional sports drink. Pediatric groups recommend kids keep added sugar under 25g a day (AAPD).

For Teams and Leagues →Questions parents ask.
Do hockey players really need electrolytes if the rink is cold?
Yes. Pads and helmets hold in body heat, so players sweat through every shift. Sweat carries sodium and potassium, which GRINTA helps replace.
How much sugar is in GRINTA?
One sachet, mixed in 600ml of water, has 10g of cane sugar. A typical 591ml bottle of a traditional sports drink has 34g.
What electrolytes are in GRINTA?
Each sachet has 200mg of sodium, 125mg of potassium and 20mg of magnesium from magnesium bisglycinate.
Can our team fundraise with GRINTA?
Yes. Teams, clubs and schools get a custom code and earn funds on qualifying purchases. Apply on our Teams and Leagues page.
